How do undoo® products work?
All humans (including all mammals) have a system of receptors in our brains and bodies that activate/respond to chemical compounds found in the cannabis plant (cannabinoids). This system is called the endocannabinoid system and its function is to maintain a state of homeostasis within our bodies. Homeostasis is our body maintaining an internal stable environment despite its external environment (think of our body maintaining a temperature of 98.6 degrees). The endocannabinoid system plays a role in the body’s most basic functions from sleeping and eating to relaxing and memory recollection.
You can think of your body’s receptors (CB1 and CB2 receptors) as “locks'' while you can think of cannabinoids as “keys”. Our bodies naturally produce cannabinoids called “endogenous cannabinoids (aka endocannabinoids)” and there are plant cannabinoids such as CBD and THC called “phytocannabinoids”. These cannabinoid “keys” bind with the receptor “locks” and affect various bodily functions.
